I began playing country music with my brother Nathan at age 11 , and  was introduced to Bluegrass music at age 17 . I  played in church for youth groups , and traveled with Instruments for Peace until age 20 .

I met Will Thomasson and Kenny Williams at a jam in Perrin and then  played with the Good News Band for 20 years .

I also played guitar and sang Bass for the Chuck Wagon Gang for 10 years .

My wife Jan and I have two children , Jeremy and Michelle . We reside in Joshua , Tx .
